New product owner (me) with little money, Should I buy traffic to split test? Facebook ads?

Hello, I just created a product on Clickbank and I want to split test the sales page to optimize it.

In order to get enough traffic to test, I will need to buy cold traffic. I was looking to start with facebook ads and I've found some good information in the war room.

So Q #1. Is Facebook ads the place I should start for cold traffic, or is there a more effective source of paid traffic for split testing a new product?

Also, my only goal right now is to break even with my split testing, but I'm guessing I will end up losing money from this split testing.

So Q#2. In order to not lose more money, should I send the traffic to a landing page to opt-in first, and then a few days from now, send them to the product page to test it? I know this method is better long term for conversions, but I wasn't sure if I should do this while testing different sales pages right now.

Thank you for your help! You have no idea how much I appreciate it!

facebook does provide way more targeting options than adwords and would be a better place to start.. and with the right focused targeting your traffic should not be cold anymore once they click on your ad.

i like to test both squeeze and landing with equal clicks and see which converts better.

if you are sending the squeeze visitors to the landing page right after they subscribe then you should still get a couple conversions right away but it may be longer-term thanks to followup emails that gets you more sales from the squeeze page.

If you have little money, don't waste it on buying traffic. Create your own from free traffic channels, and thank me later.

Ok I will look into some free traffic sources. But part of me wants to see if I can actually make a profit from paid traffic as well.
