You can just Google by putting "sites that accept guest blogging" and you will a good list of many sites that are looking for and accepting guest posts. But usually for me bloggers contact me to request if they can guest post on my blog. How I made it this way is I had published a post on my blog years ago informing my subscribers and visitors that my blog accepts guest post. In that post I wrote all the requirements to be accepted. Then I guess when more people shared this post more guest bloggers get to know about it. And once the post got indexed traffic just comes to my blog. Till now I never had to look for people to guest post on my blog. They look for me.

Guest blogging is a powerful way to get more exposure for your blog.

    It's a simple strategy.

Just use Google.com to find blogs in your niche that accept Guest Posts.

Get creative when you do research on the search engine. You can find a lot of good information fast. Just get hungry to search for answers and you will find them in details, You can also do bit more research on that subject here on the warrior forum as well.

Once you find sites that accept blog posts - make sure you take the time create exactly what they are looking for. Create EPIC Content and you should be good

    I hope this helps!

    Keep up the great work!

    Cheers!

Does this work? Matt Cutts said, it is dead now. I also did testing, it is still working. We have to post content in good authority sites.

Matt Cutts is wrong on this one!

Proper guest posting is still very powerful if done correctly.

        This is very true.

The thing so many people forget (and maybe it's a good thing if it stops them acting on unsavoury motives) is that Matt Cutts leads the web spam team.

The "PR" aspect of his job isn't so much to encourage more people to manipulate Google's algorithms in nice, fluffy "whitehat" ways, but to deter people from doing it in ways that degrades the search experience and ultimately reduces Google's value as an advertising platform.

As you can imagine, some sleight of hand is employed.

When making these kinds of pronouncements, he appeals to the lowest common denominator in the SEO world, where good promotional tactics are routinely hijacked, at least nominally, by unscrupulous SEOs - spammers - desperate to lend a veneer of legitimacy to otherwise shoddy techniques and services.

This is when something like guest blogging comes to mean blasting content ["spun" or not] to scrappy blog farms, backlink networks and 'web 2.0' sites probably with the aid of some automated tool or service, for the sole benefit of link juice rather than any potential readership.

He lays down the law using terms the greatest number of people respond to. Given our nature to whitewash over bad decisions we have made in our haste to fulfil our short-term self interest, it stands to reason that very few otherwise upstanding folk who have succumbed to lacklustre SEO methods would self-identify as Cutts' intended audience if he were simply to call what they do by its birth name: link spam.

It doesn't matter which are the "active sites of guest blogging". All that matters to you is which sites already have the targeted traffic in your niche comprising the people that you want to attract to your site, and how you should go about building a relationship with those sites' webmasters.

Has someone recently been promoting a WSO about guest posting, that's full of nonsense, or something?

I ask because over the last week, after no forum discussions on this subject for months, there have suddenly been 4 or 5 new threads, all close together, about guest posting, and each of them is full of extraordinary misunderstandings about what it is and how it works.

This should be helpful: a careful read through this fine thread, from only a few days ago, will tell you what you really need to know about "guest posting": How do guest posts work?

Go where there are NOT obvious guest blogging signals.

Approach a quality site in your niche, show them your quality content site and offer to do a guest article.

That way you build relationships and get your content where nobody else is.

    Hi,

After a Google Algo update last year, the guest blogging is no more a good option to get backlinks. Many websites were badly affected for allowing guests to publish their posts with "DoFollow" backlinks.

Yes you should do guest blogging to get some traffic to your website. But most of the sites will make your link as "NoFollow".
