Internet Service by Cell for Laptop?

Hi all,

I know you can get Internet service by cell for laptops on a monthly plan just like cell phone service. My question is, is there a company that offers low-cost monthly plans, even pre-paid plans?

I'm just looking for a small amount of minutes each month so I'd prefer to do pre-paid service on an as-needed basis. I just don't know where to look.

I have T-Mobile for my cell phone. I guess I could call them, but I'd appreciate any recommendations you might have.

The other day while browsing through BestBuy I saw three Cellular USB adapters and one of them was for a prepaid/no contract service but which service it was eludes me. But yes, they do exist.
