Tracking referral commission for non-commission based clients

Hi guys,

I am looking to create an information website that has a whole lot of articles to help out individuals and then also shows you on a map a number of organisations where you can go to 'learn' the activity (sorry to keep it so vague).

Basically, these organisations that teach the activity do not have official referral programmes in place but I would still like to be able to measure:

a. the amount of people that click through from my site to theirs (can probably be handled by analytics)

b. How many people that came from my site then booked a session. I need this metric so I can be paid on a commission basis.

What would be the best way of tracking this kind of data? I have considered trying to use Google Analytics but I don't think it will cover point b. I might also be able to create a discount code specific to me so that the client can see who has booked from my site but I don't think the clients have the margins to offer a sizeable enough commission on top of a discount to the users using a code.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
