I think you better keep asking questions here until you get an idea what are you looking for.

"List Building" and "CPA Marketing" are marketing techniques. If you want to start a website about List Building and CPA marketing, don't you think that you first need to learn more about the topic ?

Just try stay off their email lists as they are pretty aggressive and prolific email campaigners and you'll get a truckload of mail.

Both are decent guys and have had some solid success.

Honestly, I was looking for a mentor at first but then I realized the forum itself it a mentor.

You would be better severed just posting up your ideas and the things you have done, and having them critiqued by a mastermind group of gurus as opposed to one guru.

Post your landing page in the copy writer section and have those specialists look over it and give you tips.

If you want a model for getting sales here is one.

Send people to a squeeze page that they have to subscribe for in order to get a bribe. Use aweber to set this up. Ask the question to the internet "how to set up an autoresponder" like you would ask a coach then watch a tutorial video. Warm them up over a period of about 4-5 days then send them a sale offer.

If you have questions about a niche post them on the forum and people with experience will answer them.

Find Alexa's other posts on the subject. She knows what she is talking about.

You can pretty much get any question answered you want without paying a guru, and I find having more than one guru answer the question is in fact many times better than struggling under 1 person.

Be very, very careful regarding acting on the contents of any PM's you get from people offering themselves as coaches.

Good coaches don't have many vacancies and aren't trawling the forum looking for people whom they can approach by private message, offering their services.

There are many others pretending to be coaches who do exactly that.

I quite often hear, second-hand, later, from their victims (and I use that word advisedly!) some of what they've been taught, and it sometimes makes my hair stand on end. And I have really long hair.

(I hope it goes without saying that I have absolutely no coaching/tuition services to offer, myself, at all - and of course I wouldn't be making such comments if I did, or if I ever had done, or if I intended to.)

Before you jump into coaching, I would explore the field of list building and CPA first. Maybe you have already; and then that's fine. Coaching in these subjects is not an overnight process, as you probably know. You need to really be fired up and ready to work hard and devote yourself to it.

There's a girl in here who hangs out in the CPA marketing section named "Greedy" who has a very inexpensive coaching program or you pay to access all of her reports and she has a solid repuation.

Personally, I'd second Sean Mize if you want an IM Coach. But realistically a lot of the guru's will teach similar things, no-one is really reinventing the wheel. The basics of the things that worked years ago still work now and to be honest the main thing I would say is that it's not always a case of who you listen to but more what you do with the advice they give you.

Affplaybook and stackthatmoney are both awesome places to learn about affiliate/Internet/online marketing

I constantly see Igor's list building on WSO and I haven't seen any scam claims...maybe try him out.

List building I would say Lee Murray because I like his email writing style.
For cpa marketing I would say Affplaybook. They focus mostly on ppv traffic but it's a really great community of people willing to help and guide you along the way.

There is one guy I can proudly recommend to you today.

His name is Terry Dean of TerryDean.org.

He is one of the best coaches out there when it comes to email marketing. I have been following him for years and he is one of those guys that will really help you with that. I don't think he is offering one on one coaching but you will learn a lot from him.

the forum is a grea teacher but it will a puzzle for you. you not not going to find everything in one place.
my recommendation:
get a coach, maybe daily homework...will be great.
DO NOT JOIN A MEMBERSHIP SITE WITH A 1000 HOURS OF INFO ON VIDEO.
i joined chris farrel membership and niche profit clasroom when i started. great info and great coaches. BUT TOO MUCH INFO...... you will get overwhelmed and quit the first day. find one method and master it.

I would highly advise you to look up Igor Kheifets.

He's my own personal coach and a master in the
solo ad/list building niche.

He doesn't come cheap and neither are you guaranteed
to be accepted into his coaching program. But you get
what you pay for.

I first started off learning about IM from a guy named Terry Dean. He's one of them. Yanik Silver and Ken McCarthy is someone i would recommend also. Plus Dave Dee, and (finally) Dan Kennedy. But they charge really high fees, but it's worth it if you're going to come out of the deal making alot of money each month... every month.

Sean Mize has been successful in the internet marketing game for a long-time and his coaching is affordable.
