Is Joining The War Room Worth It?

Hello everyone!

Is joining the War Room really worth the $97/year price tag? I know that it has a lot of exclusive content, but I'm a little intimidated by spending that much money, when the rest of this forum is free. Is there a big difference in helpfulness and quality of content in the War Room versus the regular free forums?

I would just like to get some peoples' input before I make the commitment.

Thanks!

    Here's the thing...

I don't want to speak in a disparaging mannner about the War Room, and it isn't half bad, but this is not the most high-quality mine of private information. If you hope to join and find enough information to change your IM career, then it isn't the location for you. In my line of work, I have to keep updated on pretty much every interesting area of IM. I'm a member of a few different locations and this isn't what you'd call a mastermind group.

Does that mean it isn't worth the price tag? Not at all. If you're a total beginner, you'll pick up better information than you will in free areas of WF, and if you're out to build a list, it's a snazzy location to do so. Just don't spend the bucks and hope for a golden ticket to success. You won't find it there. And, in all fairness, it isn't meant for that, nor does it pretend to be. It's essentially a location where some members share information for profit (to build a list) or to be altruistic (rare, though). The information isn't high-level, but I think that's generally assumed. If you do join the war room, think of it a bit like buying a few IM books on Amazon. It gives the newbie a pretty decent grounding in the business, when combined with free areas of WF.

I've been in the WF for a while, and just last week, I found a strategy in the War Room that allowed me to create an entire evergreen stream this week.

Not that I didn't have the technical knowledge to do so before, it was just that this person explained things in a way that I had never thought about before, and all the pieces fell into place.

      It was awesome.

There was a time when it was a great value. I would have recommended paying much more than the current price tag to be a member.

In my opinion, that time has long passed. For the past few years, it has been mostly a wasteland of junk. There are a few decent items in there, but you have to wade through mounds and mounds of garbage to find it.

I know the new owners want to clean it up and make it a better place. I wish them well in that endeavor. There is a lot to clean up.

Ive been a member of the WarRoom for a good few years, i've certainly picked up a few golden nuggets in there . Is it worth $97 / Year - that will depend on what you specifically learn and take action with.

No. Not at all. I joined at the time where the price was at one payment of $50. It used to be a good place but now it's just garbage of freebies by marketer seeking to grow their list.

No interesting conversations or anything. But heh, do what you want.

It's worth it if you actually take the information you learn from the war room and apply it.

Being I purchased many moons ago, for 1/2 of todays price...I'd be inclined to agree that it is worth it, if you sift through all the black dirt to find the golden nuggets.

There too, you can build relationships, a list, or even get feedback (reviews) from others if you have a product to offer, and whilst I rarely spend much time in there, it has paid for itself, so I say its a good investment...(as opposed to buying a bunch of useless crap many people are selling)

I like this reply. Great imagery, too. I was being polite, but Robert has pretty much summed up the situation in a far more helpful manner. I do think the WR has some value if you're totally new, but it's a hefty price tag considering the content inside. I've paid much less for much better. On a positive note, I hear WF are attempting to improve the situation, and with their money and resources, I have high hopes.

Yes! It's worth it...especially if YOU want to build YOUR list.

Think about the people that would be joining your list from that platform?

    Buyer's list.

If you're JUST a consumer...and you NEVER take action...then....maybe not so much.

Unless you are planning on posting a WSO, in which case you have to be a member, I would not bother. There is nothing special about that section anymore.

The War Room is great if you want to get a 'survey view' or general idea of IM directions.

Keep in mind that a lot of the information there IS self-serving but, all in all, it's a good start.

If I were a newbie, I would seriously consider the WR.

Earlier, if I remember correctly, only War room members could post WSO's and threads in the classified section. Is it the same even now?

In that case, anyone who is planning to launch a WSO or publish a thread in classified section will have no option but to purchase the War Room membership.
