Is Amazon or Clickbank better to seel my first ebook?

Hi Warrior Forum,

I am very new to IM and have just completed the final draft of an ebook on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I have been asked by a friend/mentor whether I would like to seel it on amazon or clickbank and I don' t know which is better and why?

As far as I have been told, I can charge more on clickbank and potentially make more money. Obviously a good thing but I don't mind selling my first product cheap to build my list and credibility in the industry!

What are your suggestions? Thank you and have a great day!

On the contrary: for many of us that would be a clear reason to avoid ClickBank, Mark.

Affiliates who know what they're doing would be very reluctant to promote an "affiliate marketing ebook" there for the simple reason that so many of their customers will buy it through their own hoplinks rather than through that of the referring affiliate. A peculiarity of ClickBank, there: that's one place not to sell a book on that subject.

I prefer using amazon. Frankly, I have never had a problem with them paying me. They are a rep company. Also, I can get a lot more exposure. KDP is easy. I do rec for novices. Like you will get a lot more views. That is very important when you are starting out, but click bank is great if you are selling a combo of a PDF and a computer program or an app.
