How to Make YouTube Compilation Video?

Hi,

I'm not sure what section to put this in so moderators please move it if necessary.

I'm looking to create some YouTube compilation videos to add to my website - either as fair use, or after contacting the owners of the videos for permission.

Once I have the videos, what good software is it possible to use to make the compilation and add my logo + any commentary if need be.

Thanks,
Antony

    First login your youtube account
    ----->click on upload button
----->Click on video editor from the right side
---->Then click on cc and search creative commons videos by keywords
and make it compilation using YouTube video editor. simple idea

Yep this is the way I have done it too. Alternatively I have created them with "Adobe Photoshop Elements" It's slimmed down version of Photoshop but still excellent for jobs like these. Wishing you well

Awesome, thanks for that. Also seen that it's possible to enter "ss" after "www." in the youtube video link which takes you to a page that allows you to download the video to your desktop.

Have also made a logo introduction using IntroChamp.com.

    Thanks,
    Antony

I would grab them and put them into Camtasia.

You can then crop the videos to the best fadeout/fadein places, insert text slides if needed and republish. It gives you total control and makes your mashup look professional and different from a simple youtube merge.

You can use the FireFox "Ant Video Downloader" to download the videos you want. You can then edit them into a comp. video using Windows Movie Maker.
