Name for micro job site

Hey warriors, I am having a real problem trying to come up with a name for a micro job site (similar to fiverr). I dont know if I should pick some unique business name or something that would include words like task, job or something..

Any ideas?

I would personally like a micro job site dedicated to speed of the gigs delivered.

          fastjobs.com

          fastgigs.com

          quickgigs.com

          quickjobs.com

The idea here is to focus on gigs that can be delivered ideally within 1 - 3 days tops, with those that can be delivered within hours to be on a special "when the seller is logged in only" active segment.

Some might say focusing on speed might mean that people get led stray into low quality gigs. But that only means that the fast AND quality gigs rise to the top since those are the only ones that get repeat sales and endure long term.

Anyway, this was my idea for a micro site if i had the time to set one up lol

It depends on what you're selling on the site. Are the micro jobs going to be SEO and IM related so things like backlinks, article writing, press release, logo design etc or will it cover a wider base such as general things like artwork, cartoon, video testimonial etc. Once you figured that out, it'll help with the business name.

I can think of a few things related to IM/SEO micro jobs such as:
    TheSEOMarketplace
    AllThingsIM
    IMHub

Ok thanks for all the suggestions so far, and this would be a general marketplace not just IM stuff. But I am not sure if I should go with a name that has gig or task or something like this in the name, or with the general name like contrex or alliyo (those 2 are just pure examples nothing more).

Better question: what would your website offer better/different than Fiverr that would make me switch?

Great question, you think lowering percentage admins take would not be enough to make some people come here? Or...any other good ideas I could add?

You know sometimes it is good to look at something totally original and non- keyword based.

Something catchy and that people will remember.

Personally, I think it's best to give a clue to what you do in your business name. In the online world, often people will see your business name as a stand alone link without any description. So IMO, a name like "contrex" or "alliyo" gives no clue that someone of possible interest would ever investigate further because the name means nothing.

Yes, I understand that there are a lot of very successful businesses that have "invented" a name from scratch that means nothing. But in those cases, it's powerful branding that has made their names household words. You and I, the "little guy" businesses have a much better chance, better odds, of becoming successful without being able to do mega-branding, IMO, if we help prospects to understand what we do in our business name.

I have to agree with what Steve stated.
We went through this during our re-branding with the fantastic revelation of calling ourselves "Initiate Demand". It sums up exactly what we do for our clients, and our own businesses.

Since your user name in the forum here is: e730000, why not name your domain name e73jobsite.

Regardless of which domain name you'll choose in the end (I see some really cool suggestions mentioned here!), I would advice you to get a catchy domain name, and make it as short as possible. Long domain names won't be as easy for people to remember.
