Affiliate product section + blog/content section

Hello everyone!
I am fairly new to building websites with wordpress, so excuse me if this sounds like a dumb question. On the site I am building I want to add a bunch of affiliate related products on one section of the site and a bunch of viral niche related content in another part to bring traffic to the site. It looks stupid when all the blog posts are just jumbled together with product info and niche related content in the same space.
How would I go about doing this?
Is there a preferred theme category that deals with that I am talking about?
Help is much appreciated.

    I see what you mean you want posts that people share and comment on. What I would do is create blog posts relevant to your niche which they can emotionally relate to so they want other people to see and so will share. I would also create posts which review what is working ( direct them to it with affiliate link) and give my own spin on how it helps. (in the same blog posts) Or you could create a resources section and add it to another page. I would also include banners and an opt in form.
