AliExpress affiliate set up

Hi all,

Newbie here. I have been reading up on affiliate marketing and would like to give the Ali Express affiliate program a go while I'm on maternity leave. My question is how can I register as an Ali affiliate without having an existing website selling products? I understand I need to set up a site/blog (with wp in order to use a plug in the future). But what is the easiest/quickest way to set up a site showing products/content that will be sufficient to be accepted in the Ali affiliate programme? Once I have my affiliate ID, I plan to change the site to include Ali products for sale and some relevant content. Any suggestions to get started are greatly appreciated :-)

    Here's what I recommend.
    You can get your own com domain with 1and1 for $0.99. Then get hosting (send me a private message for a recommendation..)
    Then set up wordpress on your domain.
    Depending on how you want to progress with your enterprise you may want a standard site plus a subdomain/subdirectory wordpress installation.

      Is it such a dodgy web hosting company that you don't want to chance being ridiculed by making such a recommendation publicly?

      ...or maybe because you aren't allowed to post affiliate links here in a post?

    You need to create a website that has valuable information and which is capable of promoting AliExpress offers. I would suggest you to use WordPress it is easy and fast.

    On the other hand I would also recommend you to sign up to a well known CPA Network and promote Ali Express from there. If you already have an account log in and ask you account manager if the spcific network has the offer or not.

    Why do you want to make affiliate site for aliexpress while you can earn more money from Amazon affiliate website. Earning from Amazon is more easier and you can get more with less efforts. Also there is huge support available online for Amazon affiliate program.

    I use AliPlugin to create affiliate webstores. It’s plugin for WP that allows creating 1 webstore with a click of a button. It has 3 types of import, products auto-update, translation options, SEO and many other options. This plugin saves me plenty of time. Will be glad to help if you have any questions about this plugin.
