If you were to link a beginner to a gold mine of info on this site where would it be? I have used the search feature for this topic and have not come up with much.

What I have gathered from browsing this site for a little while is:
Build lists
Don't rely solely on SEO
Build trust and a nice website

I got a course a few weeks ago that has me building up a website using wordpress and adding a ton of niche related products and getting traffic from seo and social media. I suspect there are people doing it differently than this here.
If you could provide me with some essential info it would be much appreciated.

I think an important point to realize is these offerings you see are merely a starting point.I think your points about building lists and building a website that people will like and trust are good insights.I would say that you need to come up with an offering that real people will actually be interested interviewing, and then prove that and works by getting actual sales, even if you have to make a little or no money just to prove your point that it works. Once you find that idea that will generate a little revenue how much you can repeat it.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

I think you've asked a very good question, here, which doesn't have an easy answer.

Have you tried using the search function for identify Main Marketing Forum threads with the word "beginner" or "beginners" or "newbies" or "noobies" in their titles? I'm not sure how helpful it might be.

There's also a group of threads with "All-in-one" in their titles, like this one: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ffic-tips.html

Sounds to me like you're doing pretty well. If browsing the site for a little while has already taught you that, that speaks highly of your prospects! The first three of those four things are indeed hugely important (website design arguably quite a bit less so).

This might also help you, since you plan to build lists: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post6123982

Thanks for the info. A lot of those insights came from reading your info. I don't have to pay multiple subscription fees to aweber for lists on different sites correct?

        Yes; quite right.

They charge according to total subscriber-numbers, without reference to "how many lists" or "how many opt-in pages".
