wp techie problems...white screen!

Hi,

I have an old site (2011) that ticks over sales on amazon, but hasn't been updated for years.

When I try to access through wp admin the screen is completely white/blank, does anybody know what causes this and how to get the old dashboard back.

I would like to update the site, as still making sales and getting visitors (despite horrible design)

Thanks for any advice anybody can give, I'm rubbish with tech stuff

    You'll need to login through ftp and changes some stuff around.

    It's probably a plugin that is causing trouble. To disable all plugins:

    -Connect via ftp and rename the plugin directory to something else (but don't delete anything! Just rename the directory)
    -If your site now comes up, then you should update everything (wordpress itself and your plugins) and then try activating the plugins one by one.
