Well, this is a great place to start. Try to learn how to use the SEARCH button. This IS the place to be for those looking to get involved in IM.

I can't answer that question, but I can advise you to be very careful about buying training programs, 99% of then don't work.
I am selling my own ebook online and am now working on increasing the traffic. That is working at the moment, and once I have the traffic it will bring in about £10K a year, so you would only need 3 good niche books to hit your target. The include an up sell to boost it further.
IMHO, your own product does give you a lot of control and improves the returns, but it is a lot of work when you are a newbie (as I am)

I have learned far more about IM in my few days as a member of this forum, than I did in 5 months prior to finding Warrior Forums. And the folk here are super friendly and always prepared to help and answer questions. You will definately learn what you need know to get started if you spend some quality time studying the threads in here. Best of luck!

    Well £28,000 is 45.707 U.S. dollars.

There are a lot of to make this amount of money online, but you must know that you need to focus on the right things - you need to choose the right business model that will work for you.

You can get into affiliate marketing, build your own info products, create membership sites (Which I think is the easiest way to make that amount of money). Anyway, it doesn't matter what market or business model you'll pick, because the most important thing for you now is to focus on the numbers:

    $45000 is $3750 a month
    $3750 a month is $125 a day
$125 a day means that you could:

    1) Sell 5 other peoples products which pay you a $27 dollar commission
    2) Sell 5 ($27), 2 ($62+) products of your own
    3) Create a $27 dollar a month membership website and get 139 members

    -

1* Do some market research, find a market that you like and then do some more research and look if there are any decent products which have a conversion rate of 1% (Means that you get 1 sale every 100 targeted visitors) - Then all you need to do in order to make those 5 sales per day is to figure how to drive 500 targeted visitors to your offer and you'll make money.

500 targeted visitors per day means - 20 highly targeted visitors per day. Not bad eh?

    2*
    3*

The concept is very similar to 1*, but if think that you get the idea.

    good luck

P.S. A lot of people who're new to internet marketing are looking for quick-money-makers. Don't be one of them. Build a business.

My advice as a corporate SEO?
Hit the ground.....you need to be realistic because with your particular mindset you run the risk of getting so fed up that you trash the idea completely, as you learn Internet Marketing you will have your ups and downs, but learn, learn, learn, and if you are committed enough, you will eventually make it pay...........

Great point. Until you identify the different on line business models and build your business plan, you run the danger of being all over the map and at the end of the day your savings will be depleted and you will be discouraged.

Spend time here at the WF reading and asking questions as well. It would help if you take a look at things you are passionate about, that may be problem solvers for others and then focus on those markets.

      Much success to you.

I would suggest affiliate marketing or content writing. Many Warriors need high quality content at competitive rates. Check out ehow or associated content. Register a free account. Write a few articles for a portfolio. Do a Warrior special offer right here on this forum or do a classified ad. Either way it's only $20 and if your price is right and your work is good you can create a steady stream of income.

When I first got started in the Internet business, I had no idea where to begin, so I stared out by doing a lot of reasearch and bought a lot training programs to help me.

I discovered that by starting with Affiliate Marketing was th best choice before building a product from scratch.

The best thing I learned was to do a lot research of your likes and get into that niche.

You should start by looking into your hobbies, things you know about well, what subject you would like to learn more about, etc...

This is a very important step and needs to be done first.

After you do your research and pick a niche or subject, you need research about tat market and see if there is good competition and people are already buying products.

I would get a training program on how to do affiliate marketing and you are on your way.

Please be patient and think more long term than short time if you want to have a great business.

Now go out an make some cash!!

Doing something after r reaseaching is very important.

Great advice given. I will add a little reminder to stay focused and not give up. If you're looking to start making money in the next couple days, please understand that you CAN but you MIGHT not. Don't let that discourage you.

I would also HIGHLY advise you to check out Ed Dale's Thirty Day Challenge. It's a free 30 day FOCUSED guide to making your first dollar online. The new season begins in August.

      Check it out at
      Thirty Day Challenge

I'll be there, and I hope to see you too. Best of luck.
