Affiliate marketing - The Next Steps!

I am trying to promote a health product from clickbank using facebook to attract buyers and so far I have had no success.

Affiliate Link:
"burnbellyfatwomen.com"

Method:
Clock affiliate link in domain name purchased through Godaddy. Target women between ages 22 - 40 on facebook and spent $40 over 4 days.

Results:
100 visitors were drawn to the page, only 4 went through to the clickbank order form and no-one purchased making me $0 dollars profit.

I have been advised to:

1.) Analyse the traffic campaign on facebook and see peak hours ect... and this will give me an idea and help me to improve/optimise for more targeted audience.

2.) Create a catchy squeeze page giving away free high quality information, than redirecting to the clickbank and this will help me generate sales?

Please give me some feedback and information that will help generate sales.
What are your thoughts?

Kindest Regards,
Christopher Ditfort

The advises are true. but the most important thing you need is Traffic. Without traffic you can't sell even 1 product because no one see your offers. Try to attract traffic to your site.

Do you have a blog? If not, I would suggest you start one. Post quality content consistently on your blog and add a squeeze page on it too with a free report related to your niche. Then through follow up emails, build rapport with your list and the sales will come eventually.

I don't have a blog on the niche, but I guess I can create one and post high quality content.

If you are short on funds you can always make do with a blog at blogger.com owned by google or wordpress.com. You will need to mask your links at wordpress as they don't allow affiliate links.

Hi Chris, I promise I mean this constructively and helpfully rather than critically, but to me it appears that you're trying to "take action" without yet having appreciated the basics of being a ClickBank affiliate.

I would start with these two ...

What are the best ways to promote click bank products?

    Direct Linking or Landing?

    No; it probably won't.

The product you're trying to promote is also one which I wouldn't touch, myself, because it doesn't even begin to satisfy my own "basic product-selection criteria", as an affiliate.

    Thank you Alexa,

I will be focusing on promoting clickbank products according to the guidelines you have given, I'll see if it improves my progress.

I guess I can't go wrong anyway, my current method failed.

    Let's see how this goes.

    Thank you again.

    Kindest Regards,
    Chris

    Thanks Pintara,

I might start with blogger.com around a niche and build a list to promote products.

I'd strongly advise against using blogger.com, Chris.

This post/thread (and 100 others like it) explain why: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post9412758

(If you need a free blog, on free hosting, you could try starting off at freehostia.com, byethost.com, 000webhost.com, or any one of the other perfectly reasonable free hosting companies who don't put their own advertising on your pages.)

    Hey Chris,
Are you sending them thru a Sales Funnel with Follow Ups sent by your Autoresponder ?

Almost no one outside MMO Niche makes bang bang sales from the very beginning.

You have to establish who you are before they will consider buying from you.

A few might buy straight off. But really why would you even want this? Because most will be turned off by
the quick promotion you are throwing in their face.

    Hello Chris

I think you will get a lot of traffic from youtube marketing. And this is proved. Make some videos and optimize them. But it takes few times.

    Don't worry. Go ahead...
