Should I act on this?

I've found a buying keyword that only has 95,000 competing pages and got 6600 queries last month(according to google). The first page contains big sites like amazon, ect with PR3-6 landing pages but only have a few backlinks each.

The domain i want is available and matches the keyword exactly. The product isn't worth very much though(4-6 dollars US). Should i go for it?

How should i go about it? I'm a IM novice..

Outranking Amazon isn't a problem. What match type produced the 6,600 volume? Local or global?

    Hi Josiah,

    I say go for it!

One concern, you say the product isn't worth very much. Does this mean it's overpriced, or just that you think it won't generate enough profit?

Another option is to sell the product, but create something that you can sell along with it.

For example, if it were a skin care product, you could write a skin care guide and sell that separately. Or, use it as a free guide to build a list. Which you can then market other related products to.

    All the best,
    Michael

Do you think amazon ref is a good way to go, i don't know what percent they give you but say 15% out 4.00 isn't very much..

Also, there is a broader term that may or may not work for me, still including the same words in the domain i'm thinking about getting.

This term has 437,000 pages indexed and gets 40.5k local and 33k global, same low competition, but much higher comp on adwords, no premium ad spots show though!
