Domain inferno lists recently expire domains - alongside how pronounceable the domain is. It's could be great for quickly buying domains, designing a website in a day or two and selling it on Flippa.com

    Expired domains registration date get erased and replaced by the new registration date, the only useful thing from this kind of domains is backlinks/page rank/traffic and to get one good that have good stats is impossible. Very good domains get hunted by domain providers paid services before expiration.

    But you can find PR3 or less domains, I have registred lots of PR3/PR2 expired domains for the same method you cited but I dropped that project before it starts :/
