Want to quickly launch a new website? Want to sync the website with your DropBox folder?

    Pretty good idea, I wonder if they have bandwidth limits like the one on shared hostings?

    If your website consumes too much bandwidth on a short period the shared hosting cpu kills your files resulting in a

    dead slow website loading, or even worse, website down.

      I imagine there are probably no practical limites. DropBox has a huge infrastructure and can probably handle massive amounts of load.

    Create a folder in your Public folder for your website. Put your entire website under this folder. Right click on the homepage of your website (usually something like home.htm or index.html) and get the public URL for it. Bookmark this URL. You can share this URL with your friends, and let them access your website.

    If you own a domain, you can create a CNAME record that points to dl.dropbox.com. From this, you can create links such as dl.domain.com/u/[DropboxID]/pic.png. For more information, see here: http://forums.dropbox.com/topic.php?id=7897&replies=17.

    It's a neat idea but didn't dropbox get hacked not too long ago? I know it's possible anywhere, but dropbox seams to be a target because they're so big.
