Warriors, I've tried this with Adobe Acrobat 9.0, following instructions in a video, and a thread here on the forum, from someone who's known to pretty knowledgeable on this matter, yet it just will not work. I've got about 8 or 10 Youtube url's that I wanted to embed in a pdf. Anyone know how to do this and can explain it? Warmest Regards, Marcus |

Use OpenOffice to create your document. Insert the videos where you want them. Print to PDF. Why do people still use commercial software? |

Survive Unemployment, when you say 'insert your videos where you want them,' would I be inserting the Youtube url or the embed code? If this works, I'm gonna have that beer with you! I've spent the entire day trying to make this work with Adobe Acrobat. -Marcus |

Yeah, Open Office is about the only stable thing that will allow a hyperlink to remain clickable, (assuming that's what you're trying to do.) Acrobat won't do that. |

No, I don't want a 'clickable' link to the video. I want the video to play within the pdf. Marcus |

MaxRefferals, Thanks. Now I'm screwing around in OpenOffice trying to see if it will do it. I've watched Josh's video tutorial but it doesn't cover how to do it from Youtube, only from a video already stored on your hard drive. Marcus |

It's amazing how low grade people's reading abilities are here sometimes. Marcus, my own PDF Converter has a Flash Video player that can stream videos from YouTube. Instead of buying my PDF Converter you can use my Flash Player and use Acrobat to embed the player in your PDF. Here is the url where you can customise the Flash player to stream a .flv file from any url or to stream youtube videos: PDF Printer - Multimedia PDF Converter creates Audio and Video PDFs PdfPrinterPro.com I won't leave this URL up for long because it's a feature that should be available to PDF Printer Pro customers only. Absolutely no other PDF converter provides this feature except PDF Printer Pro. Sean |

Sean, I'm passing the bong. Thank you. That was an awesome app. I need to take a closer look at your software. If I purchase it, does this app become 'desktop' or does it stay web based? Thanks, Marcus |

![]() The PDF converter itself is a desktop application. The Flash compiler that creates the custom Flash player is a web-based tool because I don't want to release the source-code for it. If you want your audio & video to work and also links and bookmarks to be clickable you will need to use MS-Word when launching PDF Printer Pro. Everything else (attachments, watermarks, autotext, security, etc...) will work no matter where you launch PDF Printer Pro from. Since you already shelled out a ton of cash for Acrobat Pro there is no need to also purchase my PDF Converter. Money is tight in today's economy. Sean | |
