Can you be more specific pls (:

Sometimes if you are tracking SEO activities or something like that thru toolbars and such, google can direct you to captcha because of strange activities... but I never heard it for Aweber...

    Check if that`s google`s or Aweber`s...

Aweber does use captcha forms now and sometimes right after you opt-in you will be redirected to one.

I first noticed it myself about a month or so ago when I looked at a subscriber notification I had gotten and saw the long link in the place where the squeeze page link that the subscriber signed up from normally is. I clicked on it and it brought me to a captcha form.

I don't know what triggers these. It might be random, or maybe it triggers on email addresses that have been used to opt-in to lots of Aweber forms, or maybe it's based on IP. I really don't know why but I know they are in fact using captchas now.

I have found through testing that if you subscribe 2 or more times from the same IP address a capcha will appear. It could be different optin forms from different marketers.

As far as I have been able to determine there is no way to turn the captcha off. I had a client enter a support ticket to aweber and was told there is no way to turn this off. This could greatly reduce the conversion rates of your optin forms.

As a result this client moved to a different autoresponder service.

I hope this has been helpful,
