How can I get some ROI from an incomplete, canceled info-product?

Hello,

I've been working on an information product but because of changing circumstances, I've decided to do something else instead.

Now I'm stuck with about 10.000 words already written and a half-made sales letter. I don't really have an interest to complete everything and put it on Flippa.

So what are your suggestions on what I should do with it?

The niche is time management - how to combat procrastination.

I can't sell it as a turn-key website because I only have the source document and the source copy right now.

Thanks,
Razvan

Why don't you contact time management websites, and offer your "10.000 words" content?

Another idea is to "outsource" someone to complete your salespage and everything, and flip it.

Is this a joke? I think you need to read what has already been written and act on it.

This is interesting question... try to sell it on a freelancer in parts as articles... finish the sales letter and sell it on forum or also on odesk and freelancer, fiverr and similar...You don`t have too many options... maybe the best would be to finish everything...

Thats pretty ironic, a book titled time management - how to combat procrastination, and you weren't able to manage your time well enough complete writing it before giving up, or procrastinating. Major LOL, take the advice from YOUR OWN book and get to it !

You could offer it as a PLR product. And sell the rights.

I am amazed at how much this fourm has gone downhill in last 6 months, and now we have some members and I use the term lightly more on the side of Trolls bag out the OP for
    because of "changing circumstances"

I don't know what happened RR but I hope you find the answer.

    Right.

This started as a blog post for my site. Once I've got over 1000 words, I've decided to turn it into an eBook. After page 40, I've remembered that the fastest way to make money in this niche is to sell BS dreams, not actual, practical information.

I'm not into information publishing, it was just something that I've wrote for my own pleasure.

Last time I've published an information product was 2009. I've earned $2500 in three days. I've had four refunds which accounted to $160. But apart from that, I've focused on copywriting.

Anyway, I'm not into the habit of justifying myself and I am grateful for the actual suggestions. The PLR idea seems good. Worst case scenario, I'll package it as a free report and promote it to build a new list.

The reason why I don't want to finish it is that it would require at least 20 more hours and I may get marginal returns on my investment. Next time I'll write an eBook on how to earn $5000/day doing nothing. This will be a best-seller

Since it's incomplete, here's what you can do:
-> Find a super related product
-> Use the incomplete ebook to build your list
-> Redirect your subscribers to the complete product to make affiliate sales at the bottom of the ebook

Well I wrote a long reply and lost it somehow.

Point I made is that if you are interested in pursuing it at all, keep in mind that time management is a huge business. Franklin Covey and Day Timer are based on this principle. If you want to take it farther, you may have to go outside the WF crowd but don't give up just because of the general type of people that are here. I've read some of the stuff you've written before and what I've seen is pretty good.

    Good luck.
