JV Zoo limits my selling price of WSO to $1?

I just signed up for JV Zoo. I received a notification that my account is automatically on probation when paying affiliates. I totally understand that part.

Why are they limiting my ability to price my WSO to $1? How long does this last?

I thought I would try to answer your question since no one else has given it a try.

I don't know for sure but that $1 limitation is probably the lowest price you can sell a WSO for. You do not really give enough information. I believe the warrior forum has changed the WSO rules so you can no longer do a free WSO.

This limitation may be a reflection of the new WSO rules.

      Thanks Steve.

I just signed up to use JVZoo as a vendor. Upon entering my first product, it stated I was only allowed to post it for $1. It simply wouldn't allow for a higher price point.

I wanted to sell the course for $7.

I'm wondering why the restriction on the vendor selling price and how long does this last? Is it part of the probation period because it's a new account?

      Just curious.

You may need to ask JV Zoo? It's a bit unclear what the problem is.

Are you trying to charge more?

Can't charge less - free WSOs against the rules now.

Are you trying to do a "pre-launch" to collect signups (can't do that - that goes into classifieds until the WSO actually launches...)

I'm trying to charge $7 for the WSO. It won't allow me to charge anything higher than $1.

I've put too much work into this product to charge $1. I love what JV Zoo has to offer but preventing me from charging a legit price is a problem for me.

I'm hoping it's a glitch or someone can at least explain why so I know what to expect. It's it a matter of me proving myself with my products or if my account is legit, I understand. Just tell me why the limit of $1 and how long can I expect to "sit" at this price.

That seems weird. Try submitting a support ticket.

It does sound odd - but only JVZoo support can give you a definitive answer. Good luck.

I know it says free WSOs are against the rules, but I see them popping up every day. People are simply using Warrior Plus and making the first product in the funnel $0.00. I saw a new WSO just yesterday that is doing it. Normally, there will be at least one other product in the funnel that costs something, so I thought that's how it was being allowed.

In the one I came across yesterday, however, there were no upsells or anything. When you click the Warrior Plus payment button, it takes you a payment page, but the price is $0.00. You simply enter your email and then click "Access Product," and you are taken to an opt-in page. There is no upsell. Basically, this is a free WSO in the true sense of the word. Maybe it slipped by the mods or maybe this is allowed. I would love to know for sure.

I understand that the WF has said all free WSOs now must now go in the Warrior Classifieds section, but obviously there are workarounds because people are still running free WSOs in the WSO section every day using the Warrior Plus payment button.

He's not trying to do a FREE WSO!!! (not that jvZoo would care, anyway)

In addition, there is no automated way for the WF to limit the price of an offer that carries a jvZoo order button. Those buttons are dynamic and the actual price charged is determined on the server side at jvZoo. I'm pretty sure the WF hasn't hacked into the jvZoo database in order enforce the "no free WSO" rule.

The OP is trying to charge a whopping $7 for his product, and being limited to a price of $1.
Something's fishy in Denmark, and only the jvZoo support desk is going to be able to resolve this for him.

Thanks Sid....I thought I was pretty clear.

        UPDATE:

While I haven't heard anything from support, I just attempted to change the price and it seems to have worked. I'll upload the complete product and see what happens.

        I'll keep you posted.

Thanks again everyone for your help!

Why would they limit to $1? and If you are just starting out and plan to use Jvzoo buy now button for WSO etc... I would recommend you creating your own PayPal link with whatever price you want and not pay the fees.

But if you goal is to build affiliates then yes, jvzoo is a good choice. I also recommend WF Payments because not as saturated like jvzoo yet.

They limited my price to $1/product for a few days. I contacted support and got the cap lifted. My products were $7 products as well.

Have they lifted this restriction from your account yet? If not, you should contact support. As long as they can see you're legit, it shouldn't be a problem.

      Thanks Brad.

I submitted a ticket to support yesterday but I haven't heard anything back yet. So I'm waiting. Did you release your product into the marketplace for $1 and then they lifted the restriction or did you wait until they lifted the restriction to start selling?

I have an upsell and I'm wondering if it will be restricted as well?

????? This makes no sense to me.

Are you sure it wasn't a glitch in their system?

After all... contacting support got this issue resolved for you.
Did they give a reason for the limitation?

      UPDATE:

I actually received a response to my ticket 3 hours after it was submitted yesterday. It landed in a spam folder and I just didn't see it.

They raised my selling limit to $50.

Thanks again for everyone who jumped on and answered.

This happened to me when I tried to upload my first product. I think it's a way to sort of monitor new sellers, they don't want the marketplace flooded with overpriced junk products by scammy sellers, and I'm sure it's easier to just review the first product you sell than to try to closely monitor every single product uploaded as it goes on sale.

They were really helpful and raised my limit immediately after I emailed support. Great place, I've no complaints so far.
