Multimedia eBooks
Looking for some advice from the people who make money in the eBook world.
I write and design very unique, coffee-table quality eBooks that offer video, audio, fillable forms, special effects, animation, streaming content (like updatable advertising) and all packaged with high-end design that can be incredibly compelling.
The finished format is PDF, which doesn't allow me to distribute via Kindle.
Two questions:
1) Would I be better off writing/designing my own books and selling them and where's the best place through which to sell a PDF ebook?
2) Or would I be better off offering my custom services to IM who already have a following and know what they're doing since the marketing aspect would be new to me? (Note: these are definitely high-class products and not something that you outsource for $40 - more like $400 for a 5k-word eBook.) I've got 20+ years' writing and design experience, so these are highly professional.
Suggestions anyone? Am working on my website and would be really grateful for veteran advice on the best way to offer these. Thanks for anyone's advice here....
