Help! Engineering student new to internet marketing

Hey there,

1. I'm new to internet marketing and i need help getting around it. I just signed up on CLICKBANK and I need to know the best products to promote that will convert easily, your advive, how to go about it and free and paid verions that I can implement almost immediately.

2. I have also created a blog relating to my field (Engineering). How do I get my blog indexed in the search engine faster?

3. Does anyone know how to use Yahoo Answers?

    Just like everybody is going to school when they are kid, you can take a big advantage and go to Internet Marketing School. You will learn powerfull stuff how to promote and what to promote.
    I am a member for 4 weeks and I improve my skills about 300%....

    Hi Alex,
    You need to get hold of Tony Shepherd's free eBook "Blog Your Wage" (Link: Blog Your Wage - Tony Shepherd ). It's a hell of a good introduction to blogging (and tells you about a lot of other IM stuff as well) and it costs nothing!

    This requires an extremely long answer. But the short answer is, choose products that are already selling... that means, they have a reasonably high gravity. As a general guideline, choose products that have a gravity of at least 50.

    Best paid way to promote? PPC of course.

    Best free way to promote? Video marketing of course.

    You just want to get your blog indexed faster? Easy, just make a few original content posts. Then, social bookmark every single one of those post on SocialMarker.com.

    That should get your blog indexed pretty quick.

    Hi Alex,

    1.A good place to ccheck out is cbengine.com. You can get lots of statistics for products in every niche, and that ought to helkp you make your mind up!! Also, like mentioned above, gravity is a good indicator!

    2. Getting indexed 'faster': you could submit an XML Sitemap to google, so the spiders can crawl your page. Also, sign up for webmasters and submit your website. And lastly, create an RSS Feed for your blog, and submit it to feedagg!

    when i do these three things, I get indexed ranging from hours to a day or so!

    3. to use yahoo answers, actually submit helpful answers, dont just go stick your affiliate link anywhere!! Then you could give people solutions to their problems through the product you are promoting!!

    Hi Alex,

    Good that you decided to do it.

    1. When browsing for clickbank products just arrange them by popularity. The ones on the top are the best sellers.

    2. The best way to get your blog indexed fast is to update it constantly. I would recommend using the Jeff Johnson's modified wordpress. It's free and it's full of traffic pulling plug-ins

    3. Using Yahoo! Answers is pretty self explanatory. Are you looking for more advance techniques for getting traffic from it?

    If there was a single best product to promote then everyone would promote it and the market would become highly competitive.

    Choose products that have a lot of people looking for them but don't have too much competition yet.

    Also go for higher priced products.
