New Monthly Subscription Business- Tips on finding new customers.

Hi Everyone,

I just launched a new business, a monthly subscription club base on being stress free, because honestly- who doesn't love being stress free?

I am looking for some advice on some low cost/no cost ways to get the word out beyond my network.

I also am open to any website feedback. The site is very simple.
Thank you for your help and support!

Live Stress Free Club.

you could try advertising on some of these "of the month club" directory sites:
    monthlyclubs.com
    amazingclubs.com
    monthclubstore.com
    clubsgalore.com
    monthgift.com

site is a good start, simple is good. the photos need to be more relevant. i want to SEE everything exactly what im gonna get. the product plans listed like that is good. the product itself seems nice my wife would love that. anyway i think just putting better real photos not just stock photos of stress relief but actual photos of whats in the boxes would be a good help.

You could create an ebook about your topic and give it away or you can sell it for a low low price. Thing is, people have a hard time buying a continuity offer without this - 'trust'.

And for 2 of my membership sites, I was literally forced to make a front end product because no one was taking my offer of monthly subscription.

There are so many free forums why would anyone pay for this?

IMHO you would be better off to start a free forum or blog and maybe sell some affiliate products there

It is 2015 - in 2002 maybe people paid for newsletter or forum access but not now.

Don't make the mistake of assuming that everyone is your audience because everyone has stress. Whey you try to appeal to the masses like that, often you appeal to no one.

You still need to target people who are looking for a solution to their stress problem. So first, do your niche research and see where these potential buyers might be congregated. Then you will be in a position to see which marketing mediums are going to best reach this audience.

Website looks very fine to me. However, I will join the others and say you should find a more precise audience : work stress, student stress, couple stress, lack of skills stress etc...

Well I do think the monthly box thing has run it's course....you get the products free you sell them....
the problem is that the quality goes down on many of these

I have been "into" freebies for years and this was a trend. Some big established companies are still doing good with it, but I think the manufacters are not giving out as many samples

so many free items from forums, direct from manufacter

Walmart is doing monthly beauty box for five bucks - and I do subscribe to it but I may stop cause even they are getting less and less good samples haha

No freebies/samples here. I'm making most of my products from scratch.

I agree with Steve B. You need to spend a lot of your time in the niche research phase. I would hop on facebook and try to find a few groups related to living a stress free life like you just mentioned. You should be able to find tons of buyers there. You can spot buyers by the type of language they use. Internet marketers call this type language "buyers language". You can also use Google's keyword planner as well. Get creative.

    Hi coddon...

I must say I looked at your site and felt like weight was lifted off my shoulders... Iol. I do prefer the blue used on your blog page in comparisson to the blue on the home page as it has a lighter feel to it.

Im not sure of the image used for the 'try it' image kinda looks like dirty bath water to me.

I like the simplicty of the site but the logo didnt show on my end..

You could probably also add an opt in box and offer 7 free sounds to relieve stress 1 day at a time or something of the sort.

I would recommend you to promote on Facebook through its advertisement, you can spend $5 per day and get decent exposure and around 30-35 visitors per day through it. For local promotion, distribute fliers at colleges and institutes.

My advice on this matter may not be what you want to here, but......

I would give away free membership in your site, build a raving community and look at other ways to monetize it, such as: premium content membership upgrade, email marketing (using the free membership as your ethical optin bribe for capturing emails), quality affiliate products / links, coaching, etc.

Free things are easy to sell - I love em!!

As far as attracting people to your site, youtube channel - provide 2-3 min. videos of some of the stress relief tips or what-not, interview vids, Q & A sessions, etc. Always directing people to your site and also encourage social love at the end of every video.

    Facebook, same thing.

The new age of internet marketing is upon us, whose name is CONTENT MARKETING.

Give awesome free content and use your ad budget to promote your free content via youtube and or facebook - search engines love this kind of engagement also.

Bottom Line: A community that loves you, will reward you if you don't abuse your expert/authority status and recommend products or services that are not a good value or fit.

All good ideas but it seems the OP is doing the "subscription box" method...there have been some popular ones and they make/made money but it is a subset affiliate field that seems to be tanking. I actually ran some subscription box affiliate links and I subscribed to a few.

My own observation stands - getting good content month after month is hard, especially in a very small niche. The beauty boxes seem to do the best as women always need new lipstick or whatever, some of the snack boxes or pet boxes do well.

I think the way really to advertise it is to get with an affiliate program and pay people to promote it and/or give free boxes to mommy blogger who will write long reviews

Have you considered PPC (pay per click) marketing? There is only so much free you can do, but you can get some good traction if you invest a little bit of money. You'll know pretty quickly if you have a viable idea or not. You have a great looking site, btw. Now, you just need the traffic.

Thank you. I'm thinking about testing around $20 on Facebook ads next few days. I have thought about using google, bing, pof, and few other websites.

Social marketing via Tumblr & Pinterests and also Video marketing traffic via Youtube.

Your market is very much in tune with the self-help,positive thinking, meditation, inspirational quote type of crowd. By leveraging the correct content with targeted keywords it is relatively easy to do so, but requires time and ingenuity.

If you actually want detailed help feel free to pm me. I'm going to be starting niche permanent traffic services at relatively affordable prices in a couple days, so send me a pm about your budget if your interested.

    Thanks
