Default Anybody Ever Used WishList Member With Upsells/Downsells?

Hey guys,

I'm having a HUGE problem that is absolutely driving me insane.

What I'm doing is creating a Micro Continuity site with the following scripts/plugins:

1) 1 Shopping Cart
2) Wishlist Member
3) Upsell Mastery 1 Click Upsell Script (it integrates with 1SC)

However, I'm having a very hard time getting this thing to work right. If I set it up with no upsells - it hits the membership site perfectly and everything works fine.

But when I add in the upsell/downsell...for some reason it's not working. All the orders are getting tracked and that's all working good, but Wishlist isn't picking it up right and when it goes to the registration code, it's hitting a 404.

I've like quadruple checked to make sure everything was set up correctly and it is...

Has anybody done this process before...or could offer a little advice? I'm going insane here!

Have you tried contacting the support departments of either of those scripts? They might be able to help you out.

Hey Tim,

Yea I've contacted both. Stu actually personally responded back which I think is awesome (for WishList).

However...still trying to figure it out. I wish I could find someone who's already done it!

You could probably fix it in .htaccess.

I suggest you place a job on Rentacoder, Scriptlance, eLance etc to get some coder to fix it. Probably cost 10 bucks.

Oohh...well at least it's something I could fix easily

Any suggestions on what to tell them they'd have to do? lol I'm not exactly sure how to even describe it.

Thanks!

Jeremy

I got mine mostly up and running, just waiting for the workbook to get images made so it can be printed.

It was a grueling process though, to say the least. LoL

I reeaaallllyyyy wish Russell took advanced IMer's into consideration when he made this product! 1 weekend my @ss, I've been setting mine up for the last 1.5 months and it's not ready yet...lol

I can't wait though!

Reeveso, came across this post. Do you think your combination here of 1shoppingcart, Wishlist, and Upsell mastery ended up being a good alternative? Do you think, in retrospect, it is the best alternative? I have been entertaining this combo.

Hmm..i've worked with wishlist a lot, do you have permalinks on? Also, have you set up the redirections, for when user first signs up, and when a user logs in? Sometimes if you dont do this it get's messed up.

With my wishlist setups, i create a page that the user arrives at after signing up that redirects them to say the downlod page, so it would be -

"Thanks for your purchase, please click here to go to the download area"

It could just be conflicting...cause i'm guessing you've done all of the above!

hey guys,

I ended up doing the 1sc/wishlist combo and it came out great - but I had to get some specialized help to get it all setup.

It was a little expensive (probably a total of $300ish) but works great now

The only bad thing is that I wanna do it with another website but the guy I had help me set it all up is nearly impossible to get in touch with for some reason now.

Glad to hear you got it fixed. Programmers can be hard to work with (I've found too) ... maybe you can find someone who can look at the work your first guy did and have him copy it over to the other site? Good luck! *SmiLes* Suzanne
