Has anyone had an exceptional experience with Virtual Assistants?

If so, for which tasks did you utilise their services most effectively?

    I once hired a social media expert to promote my business for $7/Hour

    And he spent about 3 hours doing nothing, when I asked, he told me that he made 1 gmail account, 1 twitter account and a facebook account, and sent about 20 invitations to targeted people on fb...

    Wow I am impressed, this guy is a robot! Really? 3 hours to do so?

    I told him that I can and did what he did in 10 mins and manually. Without automation.

    I stopped his contract immediately

    Some freelancers are making serious money scamming people who don't know what they are doing.

    So my advice is to always hire people for projects using fixed price.

    Or if you want a full time VA, make sure to be in control and alert, at least in the beginning.

    What kind of "expert" do you expect for $7 per hour?

    So my advice is to always hire people using fixed price.
    #1 Use some common sense!

    #2 Do a lot of research! I've been through probably 100 "writers" in my seven years online.

    #3 Learn to tell the difference between real reviews and fake.

    #4 Always test with a small order.

    #5 When you find good VAs, treat them well!
