Default I need advice from senior warriors

Brief background: Finally after 4 years online found the kinds of projects I want to do to earn income, writing tiny niche reports and creating mini affiliate article sites.

Where I am: I wrote a report in a seriously tight niche and sent a preview copy to someone in the industry for feedback.

What happened: They love the report and want to know if we can work something out for them to share with their list.

Problem: What the heck do I do now?! Sell it as a PLR report and walk away (my intent was to add it for sale on my reports page)? And if so, what do I charge for it? It's a bit longer than my other reports which are 10-15 pages - this one is 22 pages.

Can you tell this is the first time I've ever done this? No, I do not have a list of my own yet and this was simply to get an expert's opinion.

Any help, suggestions and advice is most appreciated. Oh, none of my reports are on the
same topics.

Well you can take it from two approaches!

A - You build up your own list from this and give them a url to promote where their list members signup to your list and get the ebook sent to them. Then you can promote to them after and maybe also slightly in the ebook too!

B - You give the ebook a price and give that guy a % commission on all sales... while still building up your list (would need another ebook that they would submit their email to get it too) you are also making some cash too that way).

It depends on what they wanted really and what they are most happy with!

The PLR option kinda sucks as its one instant payment then that's it.

Oh or you could leave a link in the bottom of the ebook to signup to your newsletter list if they liked that ebook and leave it up to them. You will get a % that do and have a list from that too that you can promote to.

Hopefully more people will leave some feedback but from what it sounds like those are your best options.

You let them promote it to their list and give them a commission for doing so...Then you find someone else to do the same thing

The suggestion "You build up your own list from this and give them a url to promote where their list members signup to your list and get the ebook sent to them." sounds good except for one tiny problem - I don't want to lock myself into this niche.

What I've considered is setting up an optin "announcement" page, so anyone who downloads their copy will receive an email when I have new reports available.

Then again...how about I offer resell rights to the report? Unless money is changing hands in here somewhere, it's a hobby.
