Jeez the threads over the last week have been boring, no real marketing threads. No controversy, not even any moral dilemmas

So lets see if we can a good marketing chat going.

Lets have your pros and cons over building lists using 100% instant commissions rather that just the normal freebie squeeze page.

Let me start you off

Pro...using the instant coms strategy you get a list of buyers

con... it's a slower list building process

    I think people are too scared of being controversial these days in case they get banned (ie. Poor Alexa )

    Pro. More traffic sent to your offer

    Con. Loss of earnings initially on front end product.

      Ah now then here is the first rub...

      if your comparing giving away 100% coms instead of giving away the product, then technically there is no loss of earnings on the front end

      and if your smart you can make the sales on the back end just like the freebie could have

      I don't think that was the case, to be fair FL have shown a lot of tolerance as far as "controversy" is concerned, much more than previous Admin would have...

    if people spent more time learning how to properly monetize "freebie seekers" they would realize that a buyers lists is a little overrated.

    hell, robert you sell quite a few software solutions that actually help people use freebie seekers in ways that make them money. your lfmte scripts are all about building a profitable business on the backs of mostly freebie seekers.

    sure we are all looking for sales, and if you had a list of 20 jet airplane buyers you could eat pretty well i would imagine, but then their are place like youtube who have built a mega business out of monetizing consumers who arent spending any money with them directly.

    there are lots of examples of this sorta stuff. if you can hold the attention of any audience you can make money.

    to me its not really about buyers or freebie seekers...its how your system is setup. if you have a system setup to monetize buyers and you keep loading freebie seekers into the system it won't perform as you would hope.

    and likewaise, not all buyers buy everything. that list of 20 jet airplane buyers would do well if you try to sell the planes. but if all you pitch them aer offers to buy trains, i wouldn't think it would do to well. it amazes me how many in the MMO/IM field do almost exactly that.

    then they blame the failure on freebie seekers. heck in the last month or so we have had a few threads stating that the idea the money is in the list is bogus...lol.

    which is sotra true actually. the money isnt in the list, its in the attention and system. if you have a groups attention and deliver whatever they are looking for, you will be able to find ways to make money on the deal.
