ELI5: Use Paid Search to redirect to Amazon Associates?

Hey everyone, I'm new here but have been working in digital marketing/media for several years. I've recently begun exploring using Amazon Associates and have a pretty dumb question: Can I buy paid search to drive users to my own URL and then redirect them to an Amazon Associates link? It seems like Amazon doesn't like you linking directly to Amazon through PPC search, but is it okay since it's going to my private server first?

    I use Bing Ads for PPC. When you are creating your campaign you are able to put your url in where you want the clicks you receive to go. Then when they click your ad it will go to your site where you can direct them to your Amazon landing spot.

    Dont redirect. Instead build a simple page for product, or blog post per product, or use something like Woocommerce with AA plugin.
