The best screencapture video youtube software?

Hey Warriors!

I'm currently looking into buying screen capture software.

What software do you use?

I've heard camtasia from techsmith is good, but I have also read some reviews that said it was buggy and no longer allows titles.

Do you have the latest version of Camtasia? What do you like about it? What don't you like about it?

Please help

Camtasia is the great one I've used in the past, but presently it is not working on XP. I tried in searching a lot few months back for making tutorial videos, but none has been gotten.

  • There was a good thread about this a while back, the search function may be of help.

If you had a Mac I'd suggest Screenflow, maybe they have a Windows version, I don't know.

Camtasia is the best one that I have used. I tried Screencastomatic, but it did not work very well for me.

Camtasia has a 30 day trial.

I use Screenflow for the Mac and am very happy with it. It has a lot of functionality. I purchased a Screenflow training program form the Apple Mac App Store and it taught me all the tricks you need to make a professional screenshare presentation.

I love Camtasia so much!! lol

There is no one thing I don't like about it. It is the best screen capture software out there, in my opinion.

I have been using it for a long time with no problems.

    I hope this helps!

    I wish you the best!

    Cheers!

Camtasia is the product of TechSmith which is famous for its powerful software. Few people would complain the functionality of it but its price. Maybe it’s a little expensive indeed for some users. As for me, I’m currently using free online screen recorder which can be run on webpage directly. Though it’s free, the extensional tools like recording scheduler and YouTube Uploader are quite useful. In addition, the pro version supports converter and video editor. These handy tools are what make me want to buy.

ActivePresenter is the best, most powerful free screen capture software for Windoze. I have Camtasia, and it is better, but if I were to do it all over again, I think I'd go with ActiverPresenter and spend the $300 on other things, like stock media that can be used in the videos.

Although "clunky", PowerPoint 2013 has a free addon called "Mix" that has a primitive screen capture tool. While the screen capture isn't the best, PowerPoint has lots of other features that may make it an option.

I use Camtasia now for a couple of years! First on windows and now on a mac and it was always working like a gangbuster! I would see no reason to switch to another solution.

I like ezvid for screen capture then Sony Movie Studio for edits. Camtasia is nice, but if I'm going to have video editing features I want everything available just in case.

Ezvid is free, does HD without a watermark, and is very simple to use.

Screencapture with ezvid then import into Movie Studio = win

I have been using the Camtasia for a long time. Sometimes I use the Ulead video studio. You can use anyone of them. Both of these apps work good. Thanks.

I would also recommend camtasia. It has a trial period, so you can try it out and see if you like it. Personally, I do, and I see I'm not the only one.
