Is Your WP Site Slow?

I have a couple of wordpress blog sites that seemed to be constantly uploading slowww.

After, trying to blame my webhost multiple times, I finally found the problem and thought I would share. Turns out certain plugins were the problem.

So... I found yet another plugin to fix my ailing sites called P3 Profiler...
https://wordpress.org/plugins/p3-profiler/

Maybe ya'll know about it already. But, it made a huge difference in the upload speed of my sites after analyzing the problem plugins and removing the biggest culprits.

I hope this can help someone get their sites speedy again.

Also, if you are not using already a caching plugin, I would advise you to to start using one.

You will see a significant improvement in your site's loading time.

      Thanks for the heads up!

Also, there are many WP templates that are simply "slow-loading" so it's wise to be selective when either purchasing one or downloading a free one.

I usually stick to great-looking, fast-loading templates which I can easily cross-check the demo on with "Google's pagespeed tool."

Definitely keep your plugin installs as low as possible. If it is not absolutely necessary for your site to run then get rid of it. Also install a caching plugin, this will help a lot. The last thing you can do other than changing hosts is optimizze your images. Check out wp-smush it, works wonders.

    Thanks for sharing.

It helps to delete files in your theme that aren't being used, too.
