How to differentiate between tripwire and core product without looking like adick

7 replies
Hi;

I have made a good core product sales copy and video.

Now I need to break it down and make a tripwire out if it.

But I am not sure how to. It won't look good if I sell them parts of the solution!

What are some good tips on making tripwire page?

Thanks

    Try focusing on a huge problem or challenge that you can pull out of your core product. Sell them that part of the solution without giving away the core product and put a lot of effort into it

    If you add as much value as possible to it when you create the tripwire, you should be golden!

      Actually, that's a very good thing to do. In the tripwire offer, you can say "This comes from our [Core Offer] which you can learn more about here..."

      The key is to make the tripwire self-contained, yet valuable. Solve a small problem for them. However, most of the time, solving one problem usually presents ANOTHER problem. And that second problem is the one your core offer solves.

      Yet, you've created value by helping them solve that first, small problem. So don't hold back at all on the first small problem. But keep your solution limited to the first problem.

      Hope that helps!

    Let's talk in "video program" terms;
    If the whole program is 6 hours, how long should tripwire be and how long should core be?

    Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

      This is an important topic. I keep asking until I get it and it's clear. Some people are slower than you my friend. While you're on this page, give me some tips. Thanks

    The best thing you can do is put yourself out there.

    It needs to be as long as it needs to be to deliver on your promise. If your tripwire takes an hour long video to explain the solution to their problem, then that's how long it needs to be. And that's fine. Don't over think it.
