What are the only article directories worth submitting too?

I know there are a zillion article directory sites out there, but what are the ones that are proven to drive traffic? What are the only ones worth submitting to? Also, do you use a submitter bot of some type to make it automatic rather than manually going through all sites?

    This may not be a direct response to your question regarding which ones drive traffic, but I have compiled a list with Alexa and PR values. It is sorted from lowest to highest Alexa rank.

    ehow is really good but you have to write an article on how to do something so it won't work for every type of promotion.

    There are also niche sites that are very good if you are in the right niche - eg. afroarticles.com
