Is traffic from poor ( low per capita gdp ) countries of bad quality?

Say you are promoting online casinos
you send paid traffic from a good provider
you notice many clicks from, say, Romaina
bad idea?

I never made anything worth for a decent dinner from traffic from the areas you mentioned. My site is making about $2000 per month. People from low GDP countries comes for the free stuff.
I am quite frankly irritated by the bandwidth waste and even though of blocking IP entire ranges from such countries. You are 100% true. On a positive note, they are my # 1 source for list building for my free e-mail course.

Well if they don't have money then they aren't going to waste what they don't have.

Simply put, if they have no money to invest in what you are advertising to th them why seek traffic from countries such as these?

It depends totally on the offer you're selling i think. If you sell high ticket products then this is definately not good traffic. But for some offers it works well.

Not sure what people think but there are people with money in ALL countries in the world.

I kinda feel the same way.

True, but in all my years I've never made a penny from non-T1 countries. They are bandwidth thieves as far as I'm concerned.

Also, 99% of the attempts to hack my various accounts and websites come from these countries.

Even though they may not have a lot of money to spend, there are certain CPA programs like Paid Surveys that are free for them to sign up and you get a commission from !

That's accurate but anything that involves some sort of payment i try to stay away from T3 countries... Most of them don't have the money to spend and are just out to score freebies, not worth the effort...

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

        This.

Wearing my affiliate hat here, I predominantly promote revshare, per sale, single and double-opt to US, UK, CA, AUS.

Other countries: single and double-opt. And you'd be well to do the same. My biggest double-opt from one of these countries pays over $12, considerably more than most from US, UK, CA, AUS.

Only if it doesn't make you any money.

It depends on the offer really.
Sometimes it doesn't matter where the traffic is coming from.
For example at RunCPA we have lot's of bitcoin offers so they don't requite any specific geotargeting, since bitcoin can be used all across the world, so even Romanian traffic can be good.
