What am I doing wrong

Hello all

I have written a guide and posted it as a WSO on here as my first offering

I am not overly technical but I believe the guide itself, in a rare niche, would be of interest, but I havent even had a comment.!

I know the sales page could be better, but I wondered if there is any comment about how I might get atleast one person to buy it or promote it!

The sales page is really not very good.

For a $37 price tag you need a better looking page with more information, more compelling sales copy and some meaningful graphics.

There is not enough WIIFM (What's In It For Me).

It sounds like a lot of hard work:
"where to get properties from and how to source them, where to get market information from, the main suppliers for an endless string of properties and investment to promote, how to obtain leads on a daily basis and much more"

The sales copy should make this sound easy. Your headline says "work from home" but managing property is a lot more complicated than dropping an affiliate link.

Your sales copy should emphasize how easy it is to do and how little "hard" work is involved.

What is the system? I read the sales page a few times and I still had no idea

        1) What I had to do
        2) How I make money

These are key questions that need to be answered or alluded to for most potential buyers.

        - Tell them it's easy
        - Tell them what they need to do
        - Tell them how they make money
        - Show them you know what you are talking about
        - Show them other students have been successful

Testimonials would help. Even ones that say "I had no experience but this system made it easy" without an income claim would help just to let people know this is not as hard as it sounds.

Traffic? What are you doing for traffic to your offer? WSO's get little "natural" traffic. Most traffic to the WSO forum comes from affiliates sending their list directly to offers. Work on some JV partners in the same market who could promote to their lists.

        Who is your target audience?

I would think that online marketers (IM) are not really your target market so a WSO is not really a natural fit.

You will need to work on finding your target market and driving them here because I don't think they hang out in these types of forums in general.

I say give it a few days to see if you are going to get any results.

If you aren't, then maybe you need tweak your sales page or even the WSO itself.

    Two words: target audience.

Not wishing to be mean, but you're flogging a dead horse in this vicinity.

To be honest there are a lot of issues with your offer and sales copy, I would recommend either contacting a proven copywriter who can point things out to you or I would suggest investing in a copywriting course.

Give some reviews for free or wait for some more days as you were having only 2 posts in this forum. Give some more time to get more feedback that you want to promote it.

Hiring a good copywriter is the answer.
Putting your sales letter into the hands of a professional copywriter is the appropriate action.

Did you do any market research before you began down this path?

If so, are the targeted prospects hanging out at the Warrior Forum where they'll see your offer?

My guess is . . . no, and no.

      Case solved.

I have to agree with Steve! You have to make sure you're creating a product that people want to buy. And then you have to go where those people are and get in front of them to sell it.

I really don't think there's probably a huge market for your product to start with and then I really don't think you're going to find them on the Warrior Forum.

The path to a best seller product is:

        A) Find a pocket of people (see Andre Chaperon for more on this) that have a burning desire to solve a problem and feel they have little to no alternatives for a solution.
        B) Find out where those people hang out online
        C) Get in front of them and ask them what their #1 roadblock is in solving their burning issue
        D) Create a product that addresses the common roadblocks that you found from step C.
        E) Go back to those people and sell them your solution.

If you skip any of these steps, you're likely to fail.

Thanks again for all the comments. I will take it all on board as most if it makes sense.
