Camtasia Student package

Has anyone purchased or has any info on this package.

Have come across an offer for a camtasia 8.4 plus snagit for $99.90 it is described as A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item and is being sold by an authorized techsmith dealer and carries manufacturers warranty.

I am unsure whether to purchase as I do not know what info is required when installing the package i.e
will I have put in any info regards, student ID, college etc.

I am assuming the cd are supplied with keys

Any info would be appreciated

    Hey George, the latest version of Camtasia is 8.4 and from what I can gather the student package is the same thing as the base product. TechSmith offers educational pricing at $179.00 found here on their site

    If you can get it for $99 that's a pretty good deal.

    I have a course for Camtasia 8. Since the course comes from Camtasia Company Expert, I advise you to purchase it. This software is the first when we come to make video as internet marketer.

    If I am not mistaken, the student version cannot be used for any commercial purposes. So if you are planning on using it for your business, you may not want to buy this.

    How would they catch you? I have no idea.

      Thanks for all your replies.

      Unfortunately, I was unable to complete purchase on ebay as the guy selling could not add postage to the order and filed an uncompleted buyers order against me LOL .
