Should I bring my product to ClickBank?

I sell a digital product that I created that teaches people how to use a specific 3D modeling program in the construction industry. I currently earn a full-time income from it, within one year generating $100k in sales. I currently have an affiliate program which I offer to other large websites in my niche, and that has been going well. (They accounted for about $40k of sales.)

I'm considering bringing my product into the Clickbank marketplace because while I do get some good sales from my current affiliates, they are not marketers, and the promotion of my products are more of a passive thing for them, simply showing ads on their sites.

I was hoping to find some smart internet marketers who know how to generate leads in order to increase my revenue. I'm willing to offer 50% of sale price for affiliate sales, with my average sale price being about $67. One of the things that has been holding me back is that I've had some bad experiences with spammy affiliates who were doing some shady tactics in order to generate sales. If I were to put my product on ClickBank, would I be attracting this type of affiliate? Am I better off trying to find affiliates myself?

I'm also hesitant because I think my product is unique, and not what you'd typically find on ClickBank. But that seems to be slowly changing.

Thanks for any advice you can give...

I believe the question would be....

What do you have to lose?

What I'm afraid of is hurting my brand by attracting spammy affiliate marketers, and end up wasting my time setting everything up. Just curious if anyone has had experience from the product side of working with ClickBank.

^^^^^ This. Don't use Clickbank for anything you care about. It is good for crappy MMO stuff and fad diets and "how to grow hair" and all of that but anything of real value has no place there, imho.

You have the option to 'whitelist' affiliates.

JVZoo let you manually approved affiliate request. As a seller you can check affiliates' statistics like how many sales, conversion rate and refund rate before you approved them as your affiliates. You can also set delay payment if you are not confident with them.

Udemy is also a very good site to sell your products. I see quite a lot of professional start to sell their products there.

You're probably better off building a network of specialized sites selling 'different versions' of your product.

The problem with CB is that once people figure out that your niche makes BANK, 'similar' products start appearing. Need proof? Look at all the 'get paid to fill out survey' items on CB.
