Here is a Youtube tip that I just discovered; you can add a video response to another person’s video (add a video you already have on Youtube, or create one on the spot with your webcam). If their video is in your genre of business, and if it is a high traffic video, yours will be posted right below theirs, and you could gain a lot of exposure from this.

One thing to be aware of though is that after you post the video response, it will automatically say that it has been posted successfully, and allow you to click and go back to the original video. When you go back, if it still says that there are zero video responses, it is because the video creator has selected the option not to allow video responses to their video. This happens a lot with high traffic videos, but you can often get lucky, and get your response posted to a video that has had 200,000 views or more. If your video didn’t post, just move on to the next video in your target market search. And as always with Youtube, don’t do too much at a time or you could get flagged for spamming and have your account deleted.

Now for your tips: Please leave your tips about promoting on Youtube. If anyone has advice about a systematic approach to building your business through Youtube, and utilizing it’s social networking features in a organized, daily routine way, I think that would be very helpful to all of us. My tip would be if you have website you can put a annotations on your video like a link on it so that you can get a traffic.

This is nice tip and really bring viewers to you videos. But if you have added you website url into your videos than you can get more visitors to your website as well.

...to submit your videos to multiple video sites at the same time. They even provide nice viewer statistics...

Make your response video so that the target site will ok the comment. After it is approved you can add an annotation to drive traffic to your site.

Yep, good tip. Also, I'm promoting more of my videos for 1 cent per click now as well. Lots of untapped keyword phrases you can get in for only a penny. I use the paid clicks to get views and ratings, and then when the video popularity takes off on its own, I drop the paid campaign and let it keep rolling with its own momentum.
