Which name to use when launching a WSO? Real or Alias or something else?

I'm planning to launch my WSO this summer.

But i live in India and my name is a bit difficult for English Speaking ppls. I've been called by some funny or sometimes wrong pronounciations in the past...lol

I don't think i should use DarkHorse17 lol
I need suggestions from other successsful WSO product owners

I've no problem regarding privacy
I just think it's difficult for others...so what do you think guys?

Real or Alias?

    Use your real name.

Who cares if it's hard to pronounce? Last time I checked, no one was forced to say a creator's name in order to purchase a WSO.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

    Real or Alias?
IMO use your real name, it helps build credibility, or worst case scenerio - use a "pen name" but not an alias (eg. John Smith can be a pen name, an alias would be JSmith12121)

You might get away with using a nickname if you always use that name for all of your WSO products. There is a guy on the forum who, even in his WSO's, is only ever referred to by his username.

Even on his facebook page he has nothing more than his username, which is slightly suspect in general but he's been clean with everything so far.

Use your real name, so you can create a brand name around your name.

It's possible to add your real name under your forum name here. The option is there in your control panel - you just edit the second line and change "warrior member" to your name.

Why put in all this work just so a fake persona gets all the credit? ;-)

Use a pen name if you must. I use the pen name Smeltzer which has a story but it is known so I continue to use it. A lot of writers use pen names. However for the purpose of a WSO to help add credibility like others have said I would put my real name under my Pen name.

Real name looks way better and professional, especially if you want to build an online reputation.

i was never a big fan of an alies. i can possibly see the benefit for an author if that author is in multiple niches, but not product creators.

when you are going to start a wso, if something goes wrong, people can find out who you really are and then you're screwed because you already lied about who you are and very less credible and then THAT's when you would need an alias for future endeavors
