Putting public domain videos on YouTube?

Hey Warriors!

I was thinking of finding and uploading public domain videos to my new youtube channel.

Then enabling YT ads on the vids....anything I should be mindful of?

Thanks!

    Yes,

For the amount of work you'll be putting in, and the amount of money you'll make in return (unless you know how to drive mega- traffic for free), there are much more profitable ways to make money online.

But you are going to make passive income from YouTube videos though a small amount because after you upload the videos, you don't need to spend that much time on them and yet they still make money for you as long as the videos doesn't get outdated anytime soon.

The problem is that these are public domain videos, which means that a LOT of other people are likely uploading the same content. It will be very difficult to attract views.

Seems like a lot of work for what will probably amount to very (very) little money.

You shouldn't see any problems however, but you will have to upload 10's of thousands of videos to see a steady flow of traffic coming to your sites or product.

A total waste of time, unless that is your goal.

You'd probably make more money making your own YouTube videos driving around your home town and area in Michigan and talking while you shoot the videos.

You would be creating custom content, creating a potential following who are interested in your quirky opinions, and could use it to eventually brand yourself for other marketing.
