Can someone send me step by step instructions on how to redirect or cloak links in ebooks. People have said to redirect from my site but this is still over my head.So if anyone can either give me step by step instructions, or point me to a video or another site I will be so grateful. Thanks

If you have a wordpress blog, use pretty link plugin. Cloak your links and make them look nice. You can use that in your ebook. for example: your blog is xyz.com so your cloaked link will be xyz (dot) com/affiliate

You can also clock affiliate links using a PHP script as well. I suggested an easy way earlier

The only reliable and longterm way is to have your own website. That way, if the affiliate product goes out of business, you just change your link to another affiliate produce.

PrettyLink is definitely the way to go.

I have so many links that I decided to pay for the Pro version - which allows me to export my links - but the free version is all most people need.

You could use bit.ly service to do it for free...
Then just make a hyperlink in your book and point it to the bitly...

Or you can buy a domain from godaddy cheap one like .info or something and forward it to your affiliate link using MASKING and that will hide your link as you are just giving people your domain name.

No site needed for both methods

Are you using Microsoft Word to create your ebook?

If so when you cloak your link is MS Word, create a text that says "Click Here" (or whatever). Highlight the words *Click Here*, then right click and select "Hyperlink". then enter your affiliate link, but make sure the affiliate link is masked/cloaked over the words "Click Here" (or whatever word you choose).

If that sounds complicated, then just visit here:

Absolutely. People do it all the time when creating free ebooks to download, and then cloak their affiliate links under words like: "Aweber", "Ebay", "Rachel Ray", etc.
