So I've started a project with an insurance company that specializes in insurance for small businesses. The content for the site is coming along, but I've been stuck trying to figure out a really good lead magnet to really start driving traffic into my funnel.

Our demo is mostly 35 - 45 year old business owners who already have a business and insurance and realize that there current coverage isn't good enough for them.

I'm trying to use a classic: lead magnet -> thank you -> video -> Call us funnel

      Place yourself in the mind of your prospects.

      What are their biggest concerns?
      What is their biggest pain?

      Then pick one problem and make a quick guide that will help their problem.

      That's what you write your magnet about something that will help them.

      Don't make it long though just straight to the point help.

      Then offer your services for more in depth help

    Any video or ebook or podcasts that can solve thier main problem will be the best for a lead magnet. Also if you're going to make an ebook, do proper branding. Make it look professional, it will increase trust, you need to gain thier trust in this business.

    Ok so you know your niche. Next my suggestion to you would build a landing page around that.

    From there offer something of value to collect email. Drive traffic from youtube/forums/ (free) banner ads (paid)

    Then provide valuable content to your list on a daily basis leading them to your product/service.

  • You can create and ebook/video/mini-course 21 or 100 tips of things to do before picking an insurance company to invest with and the important reason you would need insurance covering xyz. You creating an awareness of the need to invest in your company's products/services

    Some titles will be:
    How to do xyz
    21 reasons to insure your xyz
    Discover how to find the correct insurance packages
    Learn the A - Z about insurance your policies
    Insurance companies/policies/packages/services revealed
    etc...

    Maybe some type of free consultation or an "insurance checklist" that helps them out with a problem people would normally have in that niche.

    Lastly, you need to determine how you can in fact deliver your direct magnet to your prospect and how you can follow-up achievable prospect to be certain people close up your purchase. I might suggest by using a multi-step follow-up campaign. Keep in mind your objective would be to direct ones prospect along your backyard path, which often will result in a brand new customer.
