personal page with login - Wordpress

Hi all,

I am currently starting up a website that needs certain features and I'm not sure the best way to approach this...

This is the process:

Client signs up to my website, they must then get their own page or alternatively their own sub-domain that they can log into, upload files and some other basic things.

I was thinking of using wordpress, and Im struggling with how to tackle the part where the client gets their own personal page that is specifically theirs, with their own login details. The page will be exclusive to them.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

    In the wordpress dashboard, you can give people user access, without them being the admin user, which is you.

    Perhaps a plugin like this is what you're looking for? https://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-member/

    What is the purpose of giving your clients their own page or a sub-domain. If it somethig to do with affiliate marketing?

    Once they register, you can give them login details for a personalized sub-domain. You can use a multi author plugin like Capability Manager Enhanced and manage roles and capabilities.

    Just an idea but I'm not really sure about the approach though.

      Thanks guys!

      To elaborate, I need this to happen automatically. If my idea picks up speed, I can't be manually creating user access. I need the user to signup, then after signup, to be directed to their own page that has a login portal to their page.

      Hope that makes more sense?

      I need the function to upload photos as well

        I can't think of a plugin off the top of my head. You might be into a custom coding solution at this point, e.g. hiring developer off odesk. Or, you might search themeforest for a wordpress theme that was created for this purpose, then just connect that to a membership script or the multi-author suggestion above.
