Hello,

After much pondering and research, I have slowly come to the conclusion that time is more valuable than money, and in order to create more time and save it, I will have to be willing to risk losing money.

Now, putting that aside, I have also come to the conclusion(I could be wrong), that as an affiliate marketer it is vital to have not just a high converting funnel, but high converting follow up e-mails as well, so that you can make multiple sales off of one customer and reap profit.

Realistically, it would be ages to get free targeted traffic to an affiliate funnel. It would also take even longer to make and tweak a professional high converting funnel.

In order to save time, I was thinking of investing in a monthly program from an unnamed person in the WSO section that would create a sales funnel, and follow-up e-mails that are proven to convert.

I would also be utilizing facebook ads to ultra-target prospects, and build a very receptive list.

I am assuming that if someone before me tested a funnel, I should be making quicker profits and be living like an affiliate in no time(fantasy)

Please advise.

    Hi

Can I first say that I do not feel that the risk you are taking (at what ever level), in building your business is just losing money. It is an investment regardless of the outcome. Within this I can since your desire to succeed and that is good. Second I believe that all types of marketing require effective sales funnels as well as good follow-up emails to your list. The challenge (as you mentioned) is conversion, and my experience has show me that there are also a truck load of factors that impact conversion, so it is an ongoing testing process. Thirdly, the investment in a monthly membership program may work for you but at the very least it will be part of your learning curve in the every changing market place. My word of caution is that all funnels - tested or not will work differently for different marketers, and it may (probably will) require a little tweaking to match your marketing style before becoming effective. Please do not read me wrong. Try out programs that catch your eye without getting caught up in the shinny nickel syndrome, and over time success will come as you acquire the tools and skill sets that work for you. The very best to you

at the very least, you will fast forward your failure...which is saving you time right? lol

in all seriousness, i have no idea what product you are talking about buying, but i would cation you that you need to see how many other people have that funnel system. are they also primarily using FB or solo ads or whatever your preferred marketing method is? look to make sure things are not over saturated with the exact or super duper similar landing pages and followups. if they are, your conversions will likely sufer.

most push button type of things either
    A) dont work very well "straight out of the box" or B) really only benefit people with an existing system who can plug in this new piece and increase their profitability....not create profits where they didnt first exist.

I think I know this song. Yeah, it meant losing a lot of money. Face book ads do not convert as well as they would seem. Also, people are reluctant to buy from a no name company. That is why selling it not easy. However, you could place your product on amazon. Oh yes, piggy back on their good name.

However, it is not likely that you will turn a profit any time soon. Here is the reason. It cost me approx $200 to gain one new customer - just one. Unless I am selling a high ticket item, it is hard to get that money back ever.

For that reason... I concentrate on real estate and other markets were I can get the big bucks and afford to pay $2 -$3 per click as well as $200 per new customer, but that is just me.

Like I said before, been there, bought the T-shirt.

Come on, it can't be that bad lol.

I mean, if you do it right, build a list, provide value, than you can return profits. It is all about building and list and community, and not just posting ads.

There are a few things I believe you could be overlooking.

Achieving anything of real significance takes a lot of time and a strong tolerance to setbacks and failure. There is no such thing as a 'Done it for you,' system in the MMO world or real life. This is just marketing plain and simple. They wouldn't sell a lot if they told you how it really is, they want to appeal to this 'Fantasy,' because it sells.

By not creating and testing the funnel yourself, you are at the mercy of someone else's expertise. If one part of the system fails, how are you going to test and isolate it? How will you make improvements or scale it if you don't understand it inside and out?

I'll say it again, doing ANYTHING that is worthwhile to do takes a lot of time, effort, money, energy etc. It's the price you pay for success in the long term.

You already know what you're doing; my best advice would be to either make a product of your own and add it to your funnel, or outsource a product / in other words get someone else to make you a product but find a really good freelancer and while you're at it, get a freemium made, something you can give away for free that has immense value, get it made in a micro-niche associated with your main niche.

it could, but if you have a really good freemium or freemiums and lots of people want it, and you have the appropriate services setup to share or 'force-share' you could have something up and running pretty quick, multiple freemiums pointing at your main offer(s) and I don't think it would take too much research to find out what would get the sharks feeding in your niche depending on what it is I suppose.

You could build your own 'professional' high converting funnel pretty quickly with a little research and the proper testing.

By all means, it's your money right?
It could be a great value.

That is an excellent tactic, and a great way to build your list from your freemiums, if that's the route you choose to take.

You definitely could, but there are lots of free resources that showcase split tests and what works and what doesn't, you could Google a lot of your information and get it for free, lots of people out there have posted their own split testing results in various niches.

But with all of that said, I think the elements of your funnel should obviously be unique to you and your target market, simply copying and pasting someone elses results won't get you the information or bond that you want with your list.

Keep up the good work Zodiax!
