It all depends. If it takes you 6 weeks or 6 months to write that book, like it does many many people, then it is not really a fast way to make money.

The problem with Kindle is that the money won't come into your bank account for awhile.

The absolute fastest way to make money is with offline marketing:

0. Have a well-designed website which talks about your services.

1. Find a local client who is looking for one of your services. There are many ways you can do it, including on Craigslist. Search for posts titled something like "Looking for web developer" in the Gigs section.

2. Contact as many local businesses as possible with your sales pitch and add a link to your site. Do not be generic, customise your copy/pitch for each case (when possible).

3. Once you get a lead, gather the requirements and analyse them. Use professional developers/designers/whatnot if you have to.

4. Send a well-designed, nicely worded proposal. Do not set the price too high.

5. Get paid the first installment.

6. Outsource the work and deliver the project.

7. Get paid the rest and pay your supplier.

8. Count the profits.

I know this is overly simplified but this is exactly how I made my first $200 "online". Actually, I didn't even have a website... I created a package of services which targeted one specific niche. 1. Classified Advertising

On sites like Backpage, Craiglist and Gumtree.

Though this method has been overlooked as old school by most marketers, it is what enabled me to make my first $ online when I got started in 2008.

2. PDF Marketing With Either E-Books And Free Reports

If you are good in writing e-books or reports say about 10-20 pages, you may consider e-book marketing to PDF publishing sites like Docstoc, Free Ebooks, Scribe and Slideshare

You can also outsource to experts on Elance, Fiverr and iWriters to get those articles done for you before you published in PDF if you are not good in writing.

What is fast? Is a week fast? Or 1 month? I don't know if this question can really have a definite answer. It depends on a lot of things. For instance, books. You could write one in less than 24 hours and sell it through Kindle. Or, you might need weeks to finish a book before selling it. And even that can go either way, you could have a lot of buyers or you could have none..

Imo.. Forget about the whole idea about making money fast and making money overnight, if you have this mindset you are setting yourself up for failure. The right mindset to have is this is a longterm business and it will take time to set everything up and start making money but if done properly you can set yourself up well for longterm success.

It largely depends on 2 main factors:

1) Your skills - Are you a SEO/AdSense guru?
2) Your productivity & Self Discipline

A book can take 5 days to write, or it can take 5 years...

Kindle is great if you like writing books, or paying someone else to write them for you. You can also use eBay and just sell stuff you might have lying around that you don't want or need or get into drop shipping. You can make money pretty fast that way but you do have to learn how to sell on eBay. You can also do what I do now which is buy and sell traffic and advertising through profit-sharing. It takes some investment but money shows up in my account in the first hour after I purchase advertising. I build on this and then repurchase to create even more earnings growth for the future. All the while I get to advertise my own offers too. I like this method because everyone needs traffic and advertising and it does away with all that website, domain, list building, and seo crap that I'm so tired of now.

You need something to sell whether it be an affiliate product or your own product. Then you need to get that product in front of people who want it.


You could do the same thing with selling a service. Provide a service, and get that service in front of people who need it.


How fast you make money depends on how fast you can get a high quality product or service in front of your targeted audience.

Amazon is definitely not the quickest.

If you started a Kindle book today at 9 AM you would not get paid until sometime in April or May.

If I put a service in my signature and ad on WF at 9 AM I could have money in my PayPal by 9:05.

Creating your own product or having rights to other products as your own is the fastest way to create income. Focus on building a list of prospects in your niche and from there provide solutions to them which can also be affiliate products. From there you are building a long term asset that will continue to pay you day in and day out. Take time to understand how to market correctly and don't expect to get rich overnight, it takes time and dedication.
