Hello in the first place, I've decided to run a fitness website, it will have information about everything, about training, weight loose, supplements and everything a man needs and this information will be completely free and I want to run google adsense on it. Around 3 ads per page and I'll make sure to have a high traffic. What I wanna know is if I can manage to make around 50-100$ per month from only google adsense with such website? ( I've got no experience in such field so don't know if it's profitable or not)
Thanks in advance.

Why would you want Adsense on a fitness blog when you can make good commissions with Amazon affiliation for items like treadmills, elliptical trainers .....................??

Having ads will only be annoying and you get a pittance for them as opposed to promoting products like $2k treadmills and rowers . Believe me, when you start to get commissions you'll soon forget about ads.

Google Adsense, IMO, is one of the least effective ways to earn decent income there is. They pay you pennies when your traffic clicks away from your site. Yes, you can make a few bucks a month doing this.

Your stated approach is going to be a heck of a lot of work for the few dollars you stand to make.

Fitness is a huge market and there are already multi-million dollar sites running strong. So why are prospects going to come to your brand new web site instead of going to all the established players? They're not!

In my opinion, you have a much better chance of making some money online if you drill down deeply in this market and find a niche where the competition is not so great. How do you do that?

Market research. Look into the fitness market and see what problems, wants, desires prospects in that niche have and then figure out a paid solution you can offer to satisfy the demand.

By selling a product or service (yours or an affiliate's), you will work a lot less and make a lot more than your original plan.

    The best to you,

    Steve

This is my opinion based on what works for me...

Yes, you can make $50 to $100 dollars a day with Adsense but it's going to take a lot of work! First, you need to write or outsource valuable content consistently with good keyword selection. Your articles need to sound naturally-written (no keyword stuffing).

Your main keyword should be kept under 1% density for the most part and you should try to include at least 1 longtail keyword for every 200 words in each of your articles (no more than 5-7 long tails for every article).

Based on my experience and testing over the years, you have to be prepared to make approximately $.05 to $.15 cents a day per article on your site after roughly 3 to 6 months. It is not an overnight thing! Of course, these numbers vary for different websites but the above is a good figure with realistic numbers to gauge your progress.

I know it doesn't sound like much money, but at $.10 cents per article a day, with 500 articles you should be somewhere near the $50 dollar a day mark. That's pretty much a year and a half of releasing at least one article a day.

If you outsource all the articles at only $5.00 dollars per job, you will have spent approx. $2,500 dollars to make approx. $18,250 dollars a year. That's what I call a great investment!

Alternatively, you can consider affiliate marketing, too. Either way, it takes dedication, consistency, persistence, and a little bit of patience but I assure you it can be done. Also, don't worry about your lack of experience. Within a few short months, you will become an expert if you stay on top of your website.

Talking some serious sense here mate.

Adsense really only kicks in after a few months of application in the sites I've made... just when a lot of newbies are canning their sites !!

I'll never understand why people would us AdSense as a primary income on a website. Especially, when building a brand new website and planning to profit from AdSense. There are much more profitable methods to create income that don't require sending your users away.

The only way it makes sense, to me, is if you have a huge website like ESPN, or CNN that it can afford to send traffic away as the 100,000th+ income stream.

    Absolutely, most definitely !

    But why would you?

Nothing wrong with having a couple of blocks of Adsense. But in this particular Niche over time you want to build a List. That is the mindset you need to have. That is if you want to bring in more than $100 month

    Hi sonic:

    Well, you are asking us.

What I wanna know is if I can manage to make around 50-100$ per month from only google adsense with such website?
First off, you are going to need a boat load of traffic. Approx 1% of viewers may click on ads for sad sense. Expect to make about 20 cents per click in that genre. OK so to get $100 per day you need 50,000 uniques. Bandwidth is expensive. I recommend using you tube for your videos and they can drive traffic to your web pages. Good luck with that one.

    Traffic sources:

    • Content - blogs, self help e-book,
    • Videos - you tube, daily motion, vimeo
    • Social - face book, twitter, linked in

You best bet (Can take long) is.

    Organic Traffic:

Using SEO, and social media marketing to get traffic
