Hello folks,
Is there any reason why the most viewed articles on ezine is mostly Fat Loss 4 Idiots? I understand it to a certain extent that it is the most popular Clickbank product for weight loss and hence most articles are probably around this topic. Take a look at the articles below and you will understand what I mean

Good question, I have been trying to figure this one out myself. Actually, if you read some of the most viewed 90 days before these fat loss articles took over, you would wonder how some of them even got approved.

And all these articles are getting ridiculously high number of views. I was just wondering if there is a secret recipe for such high number of views.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots is being heavily promoted by many marketers.

People looking to lose weight see the ads, and before they spend
money on something they never heard of before, they search for
    information/reviews on the product.

Marketers know this and write scads of articles and submit to EzineArticles.

When people search for info on FatLoss4Idiots, these EzineArticles.com articles show
up near the top of search results...

The result is high number of views. In addition, once someone is reading
one article on EzineArticles.com they can look for other articles on same
    topic.

Add to that all the other marketers who want to write articles about FatLoss4Idiots
because of its high gravity on Clickbank....they all do research by reading existing articles
    just adding to the views.

I'm betting they've got some kind of bot program running clicks to those articles to artificially inflate their views and get them in the "Most Viewed" category - hence getting MORE views from regular people and continuing the cycle...

You can't do it like that anymore...EZA caught onto that probably 4 months ago give or take a couple of weeks.

Ah I see. That makes sense. Some articles seem decent but nothing so special to get such high number of views. And it defied keyword research logic as well. But I think it makes sense with every Tom, Dick and Harry promoting this product.

Because they are sending traffic to their articles from other sources. A lot of traffic obviously.

20,000 to 30,000 views per article in a 2 month period is a lot of views.

It never occurred to me that someone would use a bot at ezines! Geez what happened to good old fashioned honesty and hard work.

And Jeremy, there are tons of artists at Myspace faking place and using bots and Myspace has not been able to eliminate it, so maybe ezines cant either.
Why an artist would want fake friends and fake plays I dont know....gross.
