Need Serious help marketing an event please
Greetings Warriors! I am a long time reader and recent War Room member. I have been amazed at the helpfulness, the abundance of information and the fact that so many members freely and selflessly share here, so thanks for all you guys do!
We are in need of some serious marketing advice from well established, experienced marketers and are willing to do WHATEVER it takes to make this happen. One of our MAJOR marketing partners has a conflict of interest and can't help us, which is the reason I'm posting here.
We have a successful, 20+ year old well established offline business. We help business owners, investors and entrepreneurs with a variety of services, most geared towards saving them money, raising capital or creating new income sources. The bottom line is we show clients how to save on taxes, plan their estates, offline market, structure correctly, pay their legal minimum in taxes, create tax advantaged and tax free income sources - basically how to make more money in their business, while retaining the maximum amount. These are secrets the wealthy use to become rich. Why make a million dollars and pay half in taxes? These are a few of the main benefits, but I don't want to get too detailed here, so PM me if you need to know more.
We need to specifically target business owners and investors that can attend a LIVE event in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA in mid-April, 2015. This will be our Sixth event in the series, and we have had up to 900 attendees at previous events.
The LIVE event will take place in mid-April (soon) at a luxury hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, and we NEED to sell more tickets! The event has already been paid for ($100k+).
It will be a 3 day event, and is at a top of the line property, one of the more recently built resorts. The first evening there is a cocktail party reception, the second day consists of group training with knowledgeable and experienced speakers, some who have spoken for and worked with the biggest names in the industry. These are "authority" figures in their niche. The last day we have smaller breakout group training provided by the speakers.
To recap: Attendees will be able to attend a VIP cocktail reception in the Penthouse Suite of the luxury hotel the first night and drink, network, etc. The second day they receive a full day of training (not a pitch-fest) where they receive a $90 per plate catered lunch, afternoon drinks/snacks etc. The last day they can attend breakout groups with speakers of their choice for personalized advice and guidance. We have many BIG name sponsors lined up and there will also be approximately $10,000 in giveaways.
We have the merchant account, landing pages, affiliate tracking, some marketing materials, etc. What we need is traffic and people to buy tickets, in other words experienced, seasoned marketers.
No offense to the new or not so experienced marketers (a crowd I am in), but we can't afford any trial and error as our event is in weeks. We have sold around 100 tickets but need to sell more.
Can you help us make this happen? Of course we would make sure it was VERY worth your time.
