why you do IM/ online business?

Guys,
I personally have few offline businesses , but I personally do internet marketing to make more cashflow --> means asset.. That's why I bought courses, experimenting, buys n learn technical stuff like software n tools, those stuff..

Sometimes I feel curious why people are doing IM/ online business with their background, and resources they have.

What do you think guys?

    I've been a full time internet marketer since 1999.

    I chose I.M. because I was sick and tired of working in a factory
    12 hours a day for $8.45 per hour.

    It's been the best "career choice" I ever made.

    I've been able to live my life the way I want and have never had
    to worry about paying bills or running out of money ever again.

    I 100% LOVE what I do and I love teaching other how to do it too!

    2. Enjoyable, challenging, something more productive than watching TV
    3. A niche I enjoy and would still actively participate in if I didn't have a business in it

    I am a fan to make money online since 2005 and now greedy to make more money online. I am starting an offline business too soon to have another way to make money.

      Many get in for the get rich while lounging and doing next to nothing from the caribbean dream. But the ones that stayed, myself included were looking to become independent, self employed and better our lives without fear of being fired, seeking approval at work, fighting for promotions etc. And give us the freedom to schedule our lives so we can prioritize the things we REALLY live for. Like family, love, purpose etc.

      That was the reason for me

    My reasons are very similar to Gambino's.

    To add to that, I'd say I have always wanted to work for myself and not be an employee and I like how an internet-based business has so few barriers to entry compared to a bricks and mortar company. I don't need to rent an office or buy stock. On the internet, you can test a new project for a couple of hundred of dollars at most and bin it if it fails and scale up if it works out. Offline, you'd need to invest thousands of dollars.

    I don't know.

    What I do know is this...

    Some of us have to do it. Believe me I have 'tried' to quit many times but failed.

    I came here from the trucking industry and didn't even know how to 'copy and paste' when I first started. My wife had to teach me.

    I have tried to do the 'simple' thing and just stick to a job until I was 'forced' off my job with an accident that resulted in a head injury.

    And when I did have a job, nothing in my life went right (if I didn't focus on IM).

    This may sound a little Xtreme, but it's the truth.

    It's a profitable niche with a lot of good products to sell with great commissions, and who doesn't love money?


    I do sometimes think it's kind of disappointing though that it seems like it's also one of few that anyone can get started in and that is profitable enough to create a descent business online.


    But I love learning about making money, I love the dream, chasing after it, selling it, and moving many more towards freedom and empowerment.

    I do this because because it gives me location freedom, time freedom and financial freedom. I love being able to make money from my computer and having to worry about inventory.

    The Reason i wanted to do IM was because i want to make something of my life. I came out of uni and with no work experience and i couldn't find work so i turned to other options. I once worked for a sales company that was commission only and the boss there inspired us to be our own boss so i read books like four hour work week and got stuck in.
